Payments

Your Stripe. Your money, on the day it is paid.

Most platforms in this category sit between you and your patient's card. The money lands in their merchant account and they remit your share on their schedule, on their count. PharmaBro is never in that path. Your brand connects its own Stripe account and the patient's payment settles into it directly.

  • Your own Stripe via OAuth, on every tier including Launch
  • Transaction fee 3% to 1.5%, at or below what Stripe charges directly
  • In-house rebill engine, not a Stripe subscription object
  • Card tokens are yours, and portable, on any day you ask

How a payment actually moves

Four steps, and PharmaBro does not hold funds at any point in them. There is no payout schedule to wait on because there is no payout.

01

You connect Stripe by OAuth

A standard Stripe Connect authorisation from an account in your brand's legal name. Takes about two minutes and you can revoke it yourself at any time.

02

The patient pays your brand

Checkout happens on your domain, under your branding, and the charge settles into your Stripe balance. The descriptor on the statement is yours.

03

Stripe pays you on your own schedule

Standard Stripe payout timing, set in your dashboard. No weekly remittance, no reconciliation against someone else's count of active patients.

04

PharmaBro invoices its fee

The platform fee and transaction fee are billed to you. You pay a vendor out of your revenue, which is the ordinary direction for a business.

The rebill engine, and why it is not Stripe subscriptions

A telehealth subscription does not bill on a calendar. It bills when a pharmacy ships, at the dose that shipped. Stripe's recurring object cannot express that, so we built one that can.

  • Cards are tokenised and billed on ship date as one-time charges, never on a blind monthly calendar.
  • Smart retry logic reattempts failed charges on the schedule that actually recovers them, not a fixed interval.
  • Card account updater coverage refreshes expired and reissued cards before they fail.
  • Multi-MID routing across up to five merchant IDs spreads volume and protects against a single processor limit.
  • Dose-aware billing: the invoice follows the titration step the patient is actually on.
  • Net effect is 0.5 to 1% of billings recovered every cycle, roughly $673 a month at $89,700 MRR.

What the transaction fee actually is

Launch tier3% per transaction. Stripe's own published rate is 2.9% plus 30 cents, so you are paying roughly processing cost.
Grow tier2% per transaction, which is below Stripe's direct rate.
Scale tier1.5% per transaction. At this point PharmaBro charges you less than the processor does.
Revenue shareNone, at any tier. The transaction fee is the only variable line.
Medication markupZero. PharmaBro earns nothing on what the pharmacy dispenses.
Merchant of recordYour brand, on every tier. PharmaBro never holds patient funds.

What you own, and what that is worth

Ownership is not a philosophy. It is four concrete things, and all four are settled in your favour on day one, without negotiation.

The merchant account is yours

In your brand's legal name, with your descriptor. Chargebacks, reserves and processor relationships are yours to manage, which also means yours to improve.

The card tokens are portable

This is the one that decides what leaving costs. Migrating off a platform that holds your tokens means asking every subscriber to re-enter a card, and losing the ones who do not.

There is no term

No 12-month minimum, no notice period to negotiate out of. Full export of records, order history and tokens inside 24 hours on any day you ask.

FAQ

Payment questions

Your brand. You connect your own Stripe account through OAuth and patient payments settle directly into it. PharmaBro never holds your funds, never sits as merchant of record, and cannot delay a payout because it is not in the payment path.

Own your revenue instead of being paid out of it

Published fee, your own Stripe, zero revenue share. Model it against your current platform on a 20 minute call.
