Do not sell or share my personal information
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. This page explains what those terms mean, why the answer is no, and how to exercise your other rights anyway.
1. The short answer
PharmaBro does not sell personal information. We do not exchange it for money or other valuable consideration.
PharmaBro does not share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, which is the specific meaning "share" carries under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended. We do not run advertising pixels on this site that build a cross-site profile of you.
Because we do not do either, there is no sale or sharing for you to opt out of. Your other rights are unaffected and are set out below.
2. Protected health information is separate
Health information we process on a customer's behalf is governed by HIPAA and the Business Associate Agreement, not by state consumer privacy law, and is generally exempt from it. We do not sell it, do not use it for our own marketing, and do not use it to train models. See our HIPAA statement.
3. Rights you do have
Depending on your state of residence, you may have the following rights regarding personal information we hold as a controller.
- Know and access. What categories we collect, the purposes, and a copy of the specific pieces we hold.
- Delete. Request deletion, subject to exceptions where we must retain information by law.
- Correct. Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Portability. Receive a copy in a portable, machine-readable format.
- Limit use of sensitive information, where applicable.
- Non-discrimination. We will not deny service, charge a different price or provide a different quality of service because you exercised a right.
Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah and Virginia have these rights under their respective state laws. Others may have similar rights.
4. How to make a request
Write to support@pharmabro.co with the words "Privacy Request" in the subject line, and tell us which right you are exercising and the state you reside in.
We will verify your identity before acting, because acting on an unverified request is itself a privacy risk. Verification is proportionate to the sensitivity of what is requested. We respond within the period required by the applicable law, and will tell you if we need an extension.
You may use an authorised agent where state law permits, with written authorisation.
5. If your request concerns a brand running on PharmaBro
If you are a patient of a telehealth brand that uses our platform, we act as a service provider and business associate to that brand. We will refer your request to them, because they hold the relationship and the authority to act on it, and we will assist them in responding.
